Tell the world you’re a Girl Scout! Here’s why we choose to wear a Girl Scout uniform to troop meetings and events when we’re out and about:

Our uniforms make us easily identifiable to each other and to the public

Our uniforms give us a feeling of sisterhood with fellow Girl Scouts

Our uniforms reinforce the sense of belonging to the Girl Scout Movement.

A Girl Scout sash or vest is worn with khaki pants or a white skirt. The official uniform is required when girls participatintg in Girl Scout ceremonies or officially representing Girl Scouts in public such as selling Girl Scout cookies.

Each age level has a different uniform and it’s a Girl Scout right of passage when girls bridge to the next Girl Scout level and get a new uniform!
