Girl Scout COVID-19 Safety Guidelines & Updates

Badgerland Girl Scouts and COVID

Girl Scout safety is always our top priority. This guidance is based on resources from Girl Scouts of the USA, Centers for Disease Control, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the State of Wisconsin.

Vaccines.
COVID-19 vaccines are strongly encouraged, but not required, for members attending Girl Scouting events including day and overnight activities This policy is subject to change based on local health conditions and guidelines by the Centers for Disease Control and area Public Health agencies.

Vaccine decisions regarding summer 2023 camp and cookie reward trips will be announced in early 2023.

Badgerland Council requires all staff members to be fully vaccinated.

 

Face Coverings.
Face masks are not encouraged but not required at Badgerland Council properties. This guidance is subject to change depending on county health recommendations. 

Masking requirements are based on guidelines recommended by health departments with the Badgerland jurisdiction. Since the beginning of the pandemic, Badgerland has abided by the strictest protocols outlined among our 23 county health departments.
