This spring is the first-ever National Girl Scout Bridging Week, and Badgerland is making it BIG! All troops are invited to join us for a bridging and rededication celebration on Saturday, May 11th at Ochsner Park & Zoo in Baraboo, WI.

The afternoon will be filled with outdoor activities, music, and of course…a bridging ceremony. After hearing from some inspiring Badgerland Girl Scouts who have truly taken the lead this year, troops will walk one-at-a-time across the Baraboo Riverwalk Bridge. Then, get ready for more music, fun and cake! Girls will take home a unique ‘Bridging Badgerland 2019’ patch.

Awesome idea: bring a picnic lunch and make it a day-long troop outing. Visit Baraboo’s free zoo, stop by the ‘Fair on the Square’ happening that day, or check out another one of Baraboo’s exciting adventures.

Important Notes about this Event:
  • Attendees should come prepared with walking shoes, as the bridge is approximately one quarter mile from parking. Wheelchair accessible parking is available near bridge. Contact us for more information.
  • Girls attending with their troop must bring the appropriate number of adults to fulfill Girl Scout Safety Ratios.
  • Girls attending independently must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
  • Families are welcome to attend this event at no additional cost.
  • Cake will be served at this event. Include allergies and important information in the “Special Information�? section of the registration process.
