Note: This program is currently full due to the current space available at Aldo Leopold Nature Center. They are working on renovations are are unsure if renovations will be complete by February.  if the renovations are complete and more girls are able to be added, registration will then open up. 

The landscape tells a story if we just know how to read it. This is an intro to discovering the secret lives of animals. Learn to ‘track’ by searching for signs of animal life in the winter and discover what they’re up to. If there’s snow, girls will snowshoe (provided) to track animal trails. Learn about winter survival skills and make a shelter out of natural materials.  

 IMPORTANT DETAILS ABOUT THIS PROGRAM:
  • Girls attending with their troop must bring the appropriate number of adults to fulfill Girl Scout Safety Ratios.
  • Girls attending independently must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
  • All adults are required to register and must be a registered Girl Scout member with a current background check on file.
  • Dress for the weather and wear warm shoes or boots.
  • Dress in layers.
  • Please bring a water bottle.
  • Pack a sack lunch.
