1920 was a landmark year for women. That’s the year white American women got the “right to vote? with the passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution. At Suffrage 100, girls will gain a deeper understanding of what this milestone meant for the Suffragettes, the women who fought for the right to vote, and what it means for girls’ rights today. While looking back at this essential time in female history we’ll look ahead at ways girls can actualize Suffragette tactics to advocate change important to them in today’s world.

BADGES: All Girl Scouts will earn a citizenship badge at this event. Daisies will earn the Good Neighbor badge. Brownies will earn Celebrating Community badge.

Girls attending with their troop must bring the appropriate number of adults to fulfill Girl Scout Safety Ratios. See the safety ratio guide here

Girls attending independently must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is a registered Girl Scout member and has an approved background check on file.
