Girl Scouts will:
- Learn and practice skills like basic climbing techniques and belaying
- Learn how to properly take care of their bodies before, during and after a climb
- Challenge themselves to reach new heights
Climb with Courage is available to all ability levels and is designed to allow our Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors a safe place to seek out new challenges. Gear, skills lessons, climbing time and coaching will be provided for each event. We will have space if parents want to join as well. Not only will you earn a fun Climb with Courage patch, but you will have the opportunity to work towards your Snow/ Climbing Adventure Badge.
-Please bring a water bottle and a snack
-Wear athletic clothes
-Wear socks or bring a pair along with you
-Climbing shoes will be provided
-This is a drop-off event
