Saddle up for an unforgettable Under the Stars adventure! Girl Scouts will spend two days at the stables riding and caring for horses, then dive into traditional camp fun with canoeing, swimming, archery, and space science activities. During their time at camp, they'll earn badges like Space Science, Horseback Riding, Animal Helper, and more, along with a Camp Center and Explorer patch!
Camp Highlights:
Develop Animal Care Skills: Girls will learn the basics of horseback riding and the importance of caring for horses, including grooming, feeding, and understanding horse behavior, fostering responsibility and compassion for animals.
Enhance Outdoor and Survival Skills: Through activities such as canoeing, archery, and swimming, girls will build confidence in outdoor settings, improving their physical abilities and teamwork in nature.
Explore Space Science Concepts: Girls will deepen their understanding of space through engaging, hands-on science activities, earning the Space Science badge while expanding their knowledge of the universe.
Badge Earning: As part of the camp experience, Girl Scouts will earn the age-appropriate Space Science series badge, Junior-Horse Back Riding or Cadette-Animal Helper Badge along with our core camp badges (Camper series, Trail adventure Series, Junior-Garden, Cadette-Archery, and Senior-Paddling). These badges reflect the skills and knowledge gained during their time at camp and will inspire pride and accomplishment.
