This dynamic program is perfect for Girl Scouts who want to step into a leadership role, inspire others, and learn what it takes to create an incredible camp experience for campers of all ages.

Through hands-on training, mentorship, and real-life experience, you'll gain the tools to lead activities, manage groups, handle challenges, and be a positive role model for others. Whether you're looking to be a future camp counselor or just want to develop your leadership abilities, this training will help you grow into a confident, capable leader.

Camp Highlights:

Comprehensive Counselor Training: Learn the essential skills that every camp counselor needs, including how to lead and engage groups, facilitate activities, and create a fun and inclusive camp environment. You'll also gain valuable training in conflict resolution, communication, and camper safety.

Hands-on Leadership Experience: As part of the program, you'll put your new skills to the test by leading activities for younger campers and experiencing the responsibilities of a camp counselor firsthand. Whether you're teaching an archery class, leading a group hike, or managing a campfire, you'll be actively involved in running camp programs.

Teamwork & Collaboration: Work closely with fellow participants to plan and lead group activities, fostering collaboration and teamwork. You'll learn how to manage a team, communicate effectively, and support others in a camp setting.

Personal Growth & Confidence Building: Strengthen your problem-solving and decision-making skills, build self-confidence, and learn how to manage diverse situations with grace and responsibility. You'll leave this camp with a greater sense of personal leadership and readiness to take on new challenges.

Mentorship from Experienced Camp Leaders: Learn from seasoned camp counselors and staff who will guide you through your training, offer mentorship, and provide valuable feedback. They will share their experiences, tips, and tricks for success in a camp leadership role.

Camp Counselor Etiquette & Safety: Learn the ins and outs of camp counselor etiquette, from setting a positive example to ensuring the safety and well-being of all campers.

Badge Earning: As part of the camp experience, Girl Scouts will earn the CIT Pin, age-appropriate Space Science series badge, along with our core camp badges (Camper series, Trail adventure Series, Junior-Garden, Cadette-Archery, and Senior-Paddling).
