A donation to Girl Scouts is a powerful way to honor someone’s life or achievements while investing in the future of girls. Whether you are celebrating a loved one’s birthday, commemorating a life well-lived, or marking a significant milestone, your gift will support the programs that empower girls and creates positive impact on the community.
If you wish to include a request for memorial donations in an obituary or celebration of life announcement, we offer the following wording:
"In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Girl Scouts of Wisconsin–Badgerland to honor [Name], whose belief in the mission of empowering girls was unwavering. Contributions will support programs that build leadership, resilience, and confidence in girls. Donations can be made online at gsbadgerland.org or mailed to Girl Scouts of Wisconsin–Badgerland, 4801 S. Biltmore Lane, Madison, WI, 53718.
Ways to give in memory or honor
Online donations: Simply select “in memory of” or “in honor of” when making your gift online.
Mail a donation: Send your contribution by check, including the honoree’s name and any additional details, to:

Recognition of your thoughtful gift
When you make a gift in someone’s honor or memory, you can choose to notify the honoree or their family. Simply enter their email address in the designated field on the form, and an automatic notification will be sent to them about your thoughtful contribution.
