Girl Scouts Will: 

Spend a day hiking through the scenic Hixon Forest and enjoy an overnight backpacking adventure at Perrot State Park. 

Be immersed in Camp Ehawee traditions during days and nights packed with exciting camp activities such as swimming, target sports, and canoeing, along with space-themed adventures designed to spark curiosity about the wonders of the cosmos. 

Earn the Space Science Badge, Trail Adventure Badge, and our core camp badges, gaining new skills, confidence, and create unforgettable memories along the way. 

 

Get ready to lace up your hiking boots and embark on the adventure of a lifetime at Girl Scout Trail Adventure Camp! This camp is designed for Girl Scouts who love the great outdoors and are eager to explore, hike, and experience nature in a whole new way Under the Stars. With a focus on hiking and environmental exploration, girls will gain outdoor skills, build confidence, and make lasting memories-all while enjoying classic camp activities like canoeing, swimming, and campfire fun. 

At Trail Adventure Camp, campers will spend their days exploring beautiful trails, learning about the natural world, and challenging themselves through group adventures. From a thrilling day hike to an overnight backpacking trip, campers will discover the joys of the outdoors, gain leadership skills, and connect with fellow Girl Scouts. 

Camp Highlights: 

Hiking & Trail Exploration: Girl Scouts will spend time hiking scenic trails, discovering the beauty of the surrounding nature, and learning about local flora, fauna, and ecosystems. The camp will offer various trails that are both fun and educational, providing an opportunity to challenge themselves physically while exploring new environments. 

Overnight Backpacking Adventure: Experience the thrill of an overnight backpacking trip where campers will carry their gear, set up camp, and cook meals under the stars. This exciting experience will teach valuable outdoor survival skills, promote teamwork, and build confidence in outdoor settings. 

Traditional Camp Activities: Between hikes, campers will enjoy classic camp experiences like canoeing, swimming, target sports, arts and crafts, and campfire fun. Traditional camp activities will allow Girl Scouts to unwind, learn new skills, and make friends while enjoying the outdoors. 

Outdoor Skills & Eco-Learning: Campers will develop practical outdoor skills like navigation, map reading, and wilderness safety, as well as engage in eco-friendly activities like Leave No Trace principles, wildlife observation, and environmental stewardship. This camp is designed to instill a deep respect for nature and foster a sense of responsibility for the environment. 

Teamwork & Leadership Development: Through group hikes, team-building challenges, and outdoor adventures, Girl Scouts will strengthen their leadership skills, communication, and ability to work together. Whether it's leading a group on the trail or solving a challenge together, campers will have the chance to practice leadership in a supportive, fun environment. 

Badge Earning: As part of the camp experience, Girl Scouts will earn the age-appropriate Space Science series badge, Cadette-Trailblazing Badge, Senior-Adventurer Badge, Ambassador-Survival Camper Badge along with our core camp badges (Camper series, Trail adventure Series, Junior-Garden, Cadette-Archery, and Senior-Paddling). These badges reflect the skills and knowledge gained during their time at camp and will inspire pride and accomplishment.
