Girl Scouts will:

  1. Discover the history of dairy farming and how it has shaped Wisconsin

  2. Learn about the technology and science farmers use to care for the environment and produce fresh milk year-round

  3. Tour a dairy farm and explore the story of cheesemaking in Wisconsin

Explore the history of dairy farming and learn about the skills, technology, and science that dairy farmers use to protect the environment and provide families with fresh, nutritious and wholesome milk 365 days a year! We will tour a dairy farm and learn the history of cheesemaking in Wisconsin.

 

  1. From 9AM-11AM the program will be located at Wegmueller Farm.

  2. From 11AM-12PM the program will be located at the National Historic Cheesemaking Center.

  3. Participants will need to wear long pants and close-toed shoes.

  4. This event is not a drop-off event; adults to meet safety ratios.

  5. Please bring a water bottle.
