Badge/Patch: Girl Scout Cultural Richness Patch Series - Native American Heritage Patch

Price: $5 per Youth / $5 per Adult

Girl Scouts Will:

Learn about the histories, cultures, and contributions of Native American communities across the United States.

Discover ways to acknowledge and honor the diversity and heritage of multicultural communities.

The United States has 574 federally recognized Indian Nations (variously called tribes, nations, bands, pueblos, communities, and native villages).

You can celebrate Native American Heritage Month by recognizing with your family and friends the histories, cultures, and contributions of the Native American communities that were the first inhabitants in the United States. Take this opportunity to learn more about the cultures of the Indian Nations in your state and across the country. This is a five-part series, and you may attend one, some or all. We've got plenty of activities to choose from, so you can make new discoveries and have tons of fun while earning your patch.

There will be no virtual kickoff for this event.  At the beginning of the program, you will receive an email with Badgerland Exclusive resources and ideas to help you complete the patch. Patches will be mailed out at the conclusion of the program.

Don't forget to share photos of your Girl Scouts participating in patch programs to communications@gsbadgerland.org.
