Girl Scouts Will:
Participate in a creative theater workshop led by a Children's Theater of Madison Teaching Artist.
Use design thinking and their actor tools of body, voice, and imagination to create stories.
Share their artistic creations with other Girl Scouts and earn their Daisy Art and Design Badge.
Theater skills are life skills! Join Children's Theater of Madison (CTM) for a collaborative, creative, and interactive event at the beautiful Madison Youth Arts Center (MYArts).
After a group welcome and theater warm ups, participate in a workshop led by a CTM Teaching Artist. Get inspired and unleash your inner artist as you create stories using design thinking and your actor tools of body, voice, and imagination! At the end of the workshop, share what you worked on with other groups. You will earn your Art and Design Badge for exploring the art of theater!
Please eat breakfast beforehand.
Wear shoes that you can move in and will stay on your feet and clothes you can move in (no dresses/skirts).
This event is not a drop-off event; adults to meet safety ratios.
