Girl Scouts Will:
Participate in an interactive public speaking workshop led by a Children's Theater of Madison Teaching Artist.
Build vocal projection, body awareness, and confidence in speaking on stage through theater games and exercises.
Share their work with other groups and earn their Cadette Public Speaking Badge.
Speak up! Join Children's Theater of Madison (CTM) for a collaborative, creative, and interactive event at the beautiful Madison Youth Arts Center (MYArts).
After a group welcome and warm ups, participate in a public speaking workshop led by a CTM Teaching Artist. Using theater games and exercises, you will build vocal projection, body awareness, and confidence speaking on stage. At the end of the workshop, share what you worked on with other groups and earn your Public Speaking Badge!
Please eat breakfast beforehand.
Wear shoes that you can move in and will stay on your feet and clothes you can move in (no dresses/skirts).
This event is not a drop-off event; adults to meet safety ratios.
