Badge/Patch: Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Patch
Price: $5/Youth, $5/Adult
Girl Scouts will:
Explore the rich histories and cultures of 21 Spanish-speaking countries.
Celebrate by recognizing all the histories, cultures and contributions that Hispanic and Latino people have made.
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by participating in a five-part series that fosters understanding and unity, reminding us that we are stronger together.
The United States is home to about 60 million Latino and Hispanic people. That's a lot of culture (and people) to celebrate! You can celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with your family and friends by recognizing all the histories, cultures, and contributions that Hispanic and Latino people have made. Take this opportunity to learn more about the 21 Spanish-speaking countries and territories' cultures honored during these four weeks. This is a five-part series, and you may attend one, some or all. Each session celebrates a different culture, reminding us that we're stronger together. By acknowledging the diversity, heritage, and contributions of our multicultural communities, Girl Scouts can find new ways to make the world a better place for everyone. With plenty of activities to choose from, the discovery and fun are endless.
There will be no virtual kickoff for this event. At the beginning of the program, you will receive an email with Badgerland Exclusive resources and ideas to help you complete the patch. Patches will be mailed out at the conclusion of the program.
Don't forget to share photos of your Girl Scouts participating in patch programs to communications@gsbadgerland.org.
