Badgerland Girl Scouts need “Cookie Heroes” to step in and help them reach their goals. This year’s Girl Scout Cookie season has been tougher than expected and right now, 72,000 packages of cookies are looking for a home. Without enough sales, some Girl Scouts will miss out on planned opportunities like summer camp, STEM programs, and traveling to Washington, D.C., for the National Girl Scout Convention.
Through the Be a Cookie Hero program, supporters can visit www.gsbadgerland.org and click the “Be a Cookie Hero” button to find a Girl Scout who needs a Hero. By purchasing cookies, Cookie Heroes help these young entrepreneurs achieve their goals so they can turn their dream activities into reality.
How It Works:
Want to help but don’t need more cookies?
If your pantry is already stocked, select Cookie Share at checkout and donate your purchase to “Cookie Share” at check-out. Girl Scouts will deliver these cookies to places like elder-care facilities, neighborhood fire stations, and food banks. That means your heroic purchase will be giving back to both Girl Scouts and the community.
Every box of Girl Scout Cookies directly supports local Girl Scouts and 100% of proceeds stay in our community, funding programs that help girls build confidence, develop leadership skills, and gain experiences that shape their future. But with sales down, many Girl Scouts may miss out on these opportunities.
All the cookie flavors are in stock and available for purchasing including Toast-Yays! This is their final season, and once they’re gone, they gone for food. Do stock up before they’re retired at the end of cookie sales.
You can also support Girl Scouts by stopping at Cookie Booths around the community. Every purchase brings that Girl Scout one step closer to achieving their goal.
