Girl Scouts will:

  1. Explore how dairy farmers use modern technology to keep cows healthy and produce fresh, nutritious milk.

  2. Learn how sustainable agriculture helps protect the environment.

  3. Make butter and take a guided tour of a working dairy farm.

What do kids and cows have in common? They both use high-tech devices! Let's learn how dairy farmers use 21st century technology to keep their cows healthy and provide families with fresh, nutritious milk every day, while protecting the environment with sustainable agriculture. The session will include making butter and touring a dairy farm.

 

This program is a partnership with the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection and Alice in Dairyland.

 

Closed toe shoes required.

This is not a drop-off event, adults to meet ratio.
