Girl Scouts will:

Explore the importance of agriculture and its impact on communities.

Participate in hands-on activities to learn about agriculture and how food is grown.

Develop leadership skills by collaborating on agriculture-related projects that support local farms and sustainability.

This challenge is all about discovering the world of agriculture and how it shapes the food we eat, the products we use, and the communities we live in. You'll explore the many ways farming and growing plants impact our environment and economy. Work with other Girl Scouts to do hands-on activities that help you learn important skills and gain a deeper appreciation for the work that goes into producing food and other agricultural goods. This is a great opportunity to connect with nature, build leadership skills, and make a difference in your community. As you wrap up the challenge, we encourage you to join us at Behind the Barn Gates to extend your agriculture celebrations and learning!

There will be no virtual kickoff for this event.  At the beginning of the program, you will receive an email with Badgerland Exclusive resources and ideas to help you complete the patch. Patches will be mailed out at the conclusion of the program.

Don't forget to share photos of your Girl Scouts participating in patch programs to communications@gsbadgerland.org.
