Begin your Junior Aide Award journey during an interactive leadership workshop. Girl Scout Juniors will explore how younger children learn, practice inclusive communication and activity-planning skills, identify their leadership strengths, and create a plan for working with a younger group.
Girl Scouts will:
Develop leadership skills by learning about the developmental characteristics of younger Girl Scouts and age-appropriate strategies for communication, engagement, and activity planning to create positive and meaningful experiences.
Build confidence in planning and facilitating an inclusive, fun, and meaningful activity that encourages participation and supports the growth of younger Girl Scouts.
Strengthen personal leadership by recognizing individual strengths and identifying ways to continue serving as a positive role model within Girl Scouts and the community.
This training is designed specifically for Junior Girl Scouts. Participants will build confidence by planning and leading an inclusive, fun, and meaningful activity that encourages younger Girl Scouts to learn and participate. Throughout the experience, they will reflect on their individual strengths and leadership style while discovering ways to continue serving as positive role models within Girl Scouts and their communities. By the end of the event, participants will gain practical leadership experience and the confidence to inspire others through service and example.
This award stands strong on its own-and it's a prerequisite for the Bronze Award!
