What is it truly like to be a firefighter, police officer, or EMT? Meet professionals in these careers and learn how you can follow in their footsteps. This camp will push your limits and bring you greater confidence to respond in an emergency. Rappel from a building, use the 'jaws of life' to extricate a crash victim and fight a 'fire'. Manage an airway, start an IV and certify in CPR. Analyze evidence at a crime scene, handcuff a suspect and practice self defense. At the end of your 'shift' head to Camp Brandenburg to decompress and have some fun with your crew. This experience will be engaging, powerful, and who knows, it might just change your life.
Please note:
All participants must wear long pants, socks and closed toe shoes that attach to the feet (no croc style).
