Girl Scouts Will:
Celebrate LGBTQ+ history and honor the diverse cultures and identities within the LGBTQ+ community.
Engage in activities that promote understanding and inclusion, recognizing the contributions of LGBTQ+ people.
Participate in a virtual kick-off event and explore ways to make the world a better place for everyone.
The Girl Scout LGBTQ+ Pride Month Celebration Fun Patch is designed for Girl Scouts of all levels and their leaders to honor LGBTQ+ history, to celebrate the diverse cultures and identities of LGBTQ+ people, and to acknowledge the many contributions of the LGBTQ+ community has made and continues to make across our nation. Youth and leaders have plenty of activities to choose from to earn this fun patch. This is a five-part series, and you may attend one, some or all. Each session celebrates a different culture, reminding us that we're stronger together.
There will be no virtual kickoff for this event. At the beginning of the program, you will receive an email with Badgerland Exclusive resources and ideas to help you complete the patch. Patches will be mailed out at the conclusion of the program.
