Girl Scouts Will:
Celebrate the cultural richness of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities.
Explore the diverse heritage and contributions of the AANHPI community to the United States.
The Girl Scout Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Heritage Month Fun Patch is designed for Girl Scouts of all levels and their leaders, to celebrate the cultural richness of all people in the U.S. whose ancestors came from the Pacific Islands, Hawaii, or the Asian diaspora, and to acknowledge the many contributions of the AANHPI community to our nation. This is a five-part series, and you may attend one, some or all. Each session celebrates a different culture, reminding us that we're stronger together. By acknowledging the diversity, heritage, and contributions of our multicultural communities, Girl Scouts can find new ways to make the world a better place for everyone.
There will be no virtual kickoff for this event. At the beginning of the program, you will receive an email with Badgerland Exclusive resources and ideas to help you complete the patch. Patches will be mailed out at the conclusion of the program.
Don't forget to share photos of your Girl Scouts participating in patch programs to communications@gsbadgerland.org.
