Theater skills are life skills! Join Children's Theater of Madison (CTM) for a collaborative, creative, and interactive event at the beautiful Madison Youth Arts Center (MYArts).
Girl Scouts Will:
Participate in a theater workshop led by a Children's Theater of Madison Teaching Artist.
Create a character, exploring the world of the past through costume elements and popular games.
Share their creative work with other Girl Scouts and showcase their skills.
After a group welcome and theater warm ups (with parents/guardians), participate in a workshop led by a CTM Teaching Artist (Girl Scouts only). Explore the world of the past by creating a character, playing with costume elements, and practice writing as your character. At the end of the workshop, share what you worked on with other groups and earn your Playing the Past Badge!
Please wear shoes that you can move in and will stay on your feet (no crocs / heavy winter boots) and clothes you can move in (no dresses/skirts).
