Price: $25 per Girl / Free for Adults

Girl Scouts Will:

Participate in a dynamic theater workshop led by a Children's Theater of Madison Teaching Artist.

Learn the elements of putting on a show and work together to generate ideas for a performance.

Expand their theater skills and share their creative work with other Girl Scouts.

 

It's showtime! Join Children's Theater of Madison (CTM) for a collaborative, creative, and interactive event at the beautiful Madison Youth Arts Center (MYArts) designed to kick off your work towards your Troupe Performer Badge!

 

After a group welcome and warm ups, participate in a workshop led by a CTM Teaching Artist.

As a troupe, you will learn about the elements of putting on a show, work together to generate ideas for your performance, and expand the skills necessary to bring your story to the stage.

 

At the end of the workshop, share what you worked on and receive a CTM Bonus Patch.

 

Please eat breakfast beforehand.

Bring a notebook and something to write with.

Wear comfortable shoes and clothes you can move in (no dresses/skirts).

This event is not a drop-off event; adults to meet safety ratios.
