Girl Scouts love the outdoors, especially our state parks! Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) and the National Association of State Park Directors (NASPD) are proud to host the annual Girl Scouts Love State Parks, a weekend dedicated to showcasing the stunning beauty of state parks and Girl Scouts' passion for exploring the great outdoors. This is an annual event scheduled for the second or third weekend in September. Girl Scouts Love State Parks 2026 is September 12-13 or September 19-20, allowing us to schedule activities with the parks on dates that work best for both of us!
This is an IN PERSON event. For the month of September you may visit any state park to complete the activities from the activity page and participate in the special Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekends on September 12-13 and 19-20 with scheduled activities.
Scheduled activities at the state parks and the activity sheet will be shared with you closer to the event date.
