Girl Scouts Will:
Cultivate a positive relationship with our natural environment by focusing on spending more time outdoors.
Learn about important outdoor skills in order to promote safety in outdoor activities.
Create personalized outdoor plans for the summer to enhance well-being and enjoy nature.
You don't need access to a national park or the woods to enjoy the outdoors! So put yourself out there with us and participate in our Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors Challenge. Spending at least 120minutes a week in nature is associated with good health and wellbeing, even if you spend that time becoming a rockstar at rock climbing or making a splash in the puddles around your neighborhood.
There will be no virtual kickoff for this event. Patches will be mailed out at the conclusion of the program. Virtual resources will be made available at the start of the program.
