Saddle up for an unforgettable adventure at Horse Explorer Camp! Campers will spend two days at nearby stables, learning horseback riding and the essentials of horse care, including grooming, feeding, and understanding horse behavior. The week continues at Camp Ehawee with canoeing, swimming, archery, and aerial sport activities that combine outdoor adventure with hands-on learning.
Each day is filled with opportunities to grow confidence, build friendships, and explore new skills in a safe and supportive environment. The week culminates in a celebration of achievements, including earned badges and patches that recognize each campers' hard work, creativity, and courage.
Camp Highlights:
Animal Care & Horsemanship: Learn riding basics, care for horses, and develop responsibility, compassion, and confidence.
Outdoor Adventure Skills: Canoeing, archery, swimming, and camp games help campers build teamwork, problem-solving, and self-reliance.
Badge Earning: Campers earn age-appropriate badges, including Junior Horseback Riding or Cadette Animal Helper, and Core Camp Badges (Camper series and Trail Adventure) along with the Camp Center and Horse Patch to celebrate their accomplishments.
