Girl Scouts Will:
Dive into a fun-filled overnight camp adventure, building independence and confidence.
Explore the outdoors through swimming, hiking, target sports, canoeing, and low ropes challenges.
Connect with troop mates and new friends through teamwork, campfire fun, and shared adventures.
Earn the Core Camp Badges and the Camp Ehawee Patch.
Adults will:
Participate in all things camp. OR earn the Lifeguard certification during the day, with troop time at night.
Course Details:
Blended Learning: Pre-course online modules are required before attending the in-person session.
Certification: Two-year certification upon successful completion.
Comprehensive Training: Covers Lifeguarding, Waterfront Skills, CPR, first aid, -meeting the requirements of Badgerland Girl Scouts and the State of Wisconsin for all waterfront activities.
Grow your confidence, explore the outdoors, and make memories that last a lifetime at Troop Camp! Over three days and two nights at Camp Ehawee, Girl Scout Troops will experience the excitement of overnight camp with hands-on adventures, outdoor challenges, and creative activities that inspire curiosity and fun.
Adults can choose their own adventure at camp! Adult leaders will have the opportunity to earn the Lifeguarding certification or partake in camp activities with your troop.
Camp Highlights:
Outdoor Adventures: Canoeing, hiking, nature exploration, and gardening connect campers with the beauty of the outdoors.
Campfire Fun: Enjoy stories, songs, and s'mores as campers gather under the stars.
Teamwork & Leadership: Low ropes challenges, problem-solving activities, and group games build confidence and cooperation.
Creative Crafts: Nature-inspired arts, crafts, and keepsakes celebrate campers' creativity.
Badgerland is offering the Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid and Waterfront Skills certification as a blended learning format to better fit your schedule. Instead of a full five day, in-person class, this course now combines self-paced online modules with a three-day in-person classroom and in water skills and certification.
Pre-course work is required.
All participants must complete the required online modules before attending the in-person session. After you register, you will be manually enrolled in the American Red Cross system. Please note that there may be a short delay between your registration and when you receive the email with instructions to begin the online coursework. This email will come directly from the American Red Cross (via their Salesforce Automation Account: rclcsfteam@redcross.org).
What to Expect:
In-person session: Some classroom time reviewing CPR/First Aid skills, and many hours in the water learning, practicing, and testing lifeguarding skills.
