Young people are navigating an increasingly complex world, and the adults who support them are often looking for practical, compassionate ways to respond.
Supporting Youth Well-Being is an interactive training designed to help Girl Scout volunteers better understand topics affecting today's youth. Through guided discussion, practical examples, and skill-building activities, participants will explore strategies for creating supportive environments and responding constructively to challenging situations.
Specific topics may vary by session and may include:
Social-emotional learning (SEL)
Anxiety and stress management
Emotional regulation strategies
Neurodiversity and inclusion
Behavior management
Trauma-informed practices
Positive youth development
Mental wellness and resilience
Troop dynamics and interpersonal relationships

Participants will leave with practical strategies, resources, and ideas that can be applied immediately within their troop environments and personal lives.
This training is intended to be informative, supportive, and discussion-based. No prior experience or specialized background is required.
