Right now, it’s nothing special. But the moment you fold it, write on it, or imagine with it, it begins to change.
Maybe you’ll fold your paper into a soaring airplane, testing how far it can fly—like an engineer experimenting with new ideas.
Maybe you’ll turn it into a butterfly, a reminder that you’re always growing and changing.
Maybe you’ll sketch out your boldest goals onto it, like a scientist mapping out a new discovery or a changemaker designing a plan to make the world better.
Or maybe you’ll invent something no one else has ever thought of before. Because every big idea starts the same way—with a blank page and the courage to try.
That’s exactly what your Girl Scout year is like. It’s unwritten. And you get to decide what it becomes.
Trying new STEM adventures: coding, robotics, or exploring the night sky. Whether at a council event, reserving council's Innovation Lab, exploring STEM with your friends and troop, or earning a special badge, there are endless ways to discover.
Joining the new Youth Leadership Academy, where you’ll grow essential leadership skills, practice decision-making, explore career paths, and mentor younger Girl Scouts—all while building confidence and creating a supportive community rooted in Girl Scout values.
Chasing a big goal, like being the Top Cookie Seller or completing a Highest Award project.
Sharing traditions and making memories at Service Unit events, community programs, and patch challenges through My Badgerland.
Each of these is like a fold in your paper—another step that turns something flat and ordinary into something full of possibility.
That paper in your hand isn’t really about paper at all. It’s about what’s inside you: your ideas, your courage, your creativity, and your voice.
Because in Girl Scouts, you don’t just join activities. You discover who you are. You test what you can do. And you find out that you’re capable of more than you ever imagined.
So go ahead. Pick up your paper. Create your starting point. And then step into a year that’s yours to design.
When you’re ready, share what you created! Post and share your idea and plan using the hashtag #MyGirlScoutYear and tag the @gsbadgerland account, or email it to communications@gsbadgerland.org for us to share.
Your idea could be the spark that inspires another Girl Scout to imagine even bigger this year.
