Official Sweepstakes Rules for Girl Scouts of Wisconsin - Badgerland "Win Cookies for a Year" Giveaway

By participating in the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin - Badgerland "Win Cookies for a Year" Giveaway (the "Sweepstakes"), you agree to the following official rules (the "Rules"). The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Girl Scouts of Wisconsin - Badgerland ("Sponsor").
1. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Wisconsin, Iowa, or Minnesota who reside within the Badgerland Girl Scout Council jurisdiction (see the list of eligible zip codes) and are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law.
2. Entry Period
The Sweepstakes begins on February 22, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (CST) and ends on April 13, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CST (the "Entry Period"). All entries must be received during this Entry Period to be eligible.
3. How to Enter
To enter, purchase 5 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies for $30 from a Badgerland Girl Scout at a booth sale or in person. Your contact information will be collected for entry into the giveaway.
No purchase necessary to enter. To enter without a purchase, submit your name, email address, and a delivery address within the Badgerland Girl Scout council jurisdiction by mailing your entry to:

Important Entry Guidelines:
- Only one entry per person per envelope is allowed.
- Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified.
- Incomplete or inaccurate entries are void.
- Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, misdirected entries, or other issues that may delay or prevent entry.
Email and Marketing Opt-in:
By entering, you agree to receive communications from Girl Scouts of Wisconsin - Badgerland, including updates, newsletters, and marketing materials. You may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the communications. Personal information will not be shared or sold to outside organizations.
4. Prize
Four (4) Grand Prize Winners will receive Girl Scout Cookies for one year, consisting of 60 boxes of cookies (flavors chosen at random). The total approximate retail value (ARV) of each prize is $360.
Prizes must be picked up at one of the Girl Scout Leadership Centers located in Madison, La Crosse or Janesville Wisconsin. No substitutions or cash equivalents will be provided, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
5. Selection of Winners
Four (4) winners will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will take place on or around April 22, 2025.
Winners will be notified via the email address provided at entry and must respond within seven (7) days to claim their prize. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected at the Sponsor’s discretion.
6. General Conditions
Winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (where legal) within fourteen (14) days of notification. Failure to comply may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected.
By entering, participants agree to:
- Be bound by these Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions, which are final in all respects.
- Allow the Sponsor to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or other issues beyond the Sponsor’s control impact the integrity of the Sweepstakes.
7. Privacy
By entering, participants agree that the Sponsor may use their personal information for administering the Sweepstakes and fulfilling prizes, as well as for marketing communications outlined in Section 3.
Personal information will not be shared or sold to outside organizations and will be handled according to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which can be found [here].
8. Publicity Release
By accepting a prize, winners agree to allow the Sponsor to use their name, likeness, and other information for promotional and advertising purposes, in any media, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Girl Scouts of the USA, and their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims or actions arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance of a prize.
10. Disputes
Except where prohibited, participants agree that any disputes arising from the Sweepstakes shall be resolved individually without resorting to a class action. All disputes shall be governed by the laws of Wisconsin, Iowa, or Minnesota, as applicable, without regard to conflict of law rules.
