Getting in the Groove with Girl Scouts: New Member Party
Start your Girl Scout journey with a day full of fun, creativity, and connection. You’re invited to celebrate, explore, and discover what Girl Scouts is all about.

This special event is designed for families who are new to Girl Scouts or thinking about joining. It’s a welcoming space to meet other families, connect with troop leaders, and get everything you need to begin your adventure.
At the event, you can:
- Get creative: Make tie-dye, design a disco ball craft, create a lava lamp, and more
- Gear up: Pick up uniform pieces, learn how to place badges and patches, and get hands-on help
- Build connections: Meet new friends, troop leaders, and volunteers excited to welcome you
- Discover Girl Scouts: Learn how your child can grow, lead, and thrive
Feel free to come dressed in your grooviest ’70s style for a little extra fun.

- This is not a drop-off event. Caregivers should plan to stay and participate.
- This event is designed for families who began their Girl Scout journey on or after April 1, 2026.
